When you’re the child of an artist, you live your life in color! At least, that’s the case for these cuties. This family was not shy with their color choices. They had a vision, and we brought it to life. This was a simplicity newborn session, which is not something that I often recommend because, as we all know, babies can be unpredictable. When I have clients interested in a simplicity session involving babies of any age, I always ensure everyone is on the same page and that expectations are set on the lower end. We at JNP do all we can to control the elements and set the scene for the perfect newborn experience, knowing that every baby is different. What works for one doesn’t always work for all. Luckily, Aurelian and his big sister were pros at going with the flow, and it made for some beautiful, vibrant, and heartwarming final images.

Remember those lower expectations? Aurelian knocked those out of the park. Not only did he sleep soundly through almost his entire newborn session, but he gave the most precious smirks and snuggled right into his setups and our hearts. He even handled transitions well! Just look at those cute little piggy toes peeking out!
